David Bichsel is an engineer in Environmental Sciences graduated from the Engineering School of Geneva. He currently lives in Switzerland.
After obtaining his first bachelor degree Computer Science, David worked in the informations system department of Médecins sans Frontières (MSF) for several years, first as a technical support computer technition for the headquarters’ users, then as a field computer specialist. He brought IT support to the MSF missions in Iraq, Jordan, Mozambique, Swaziland, Guinea Conakry and Cameroun. These professional experiences enabled him to develop a good adaptability in complex situations.
After completing a Permaculture course in Spain in 2008, David started to work in the environmental field. He participated in the development of an environmental course for children and an urban farm in Tel Aviv, Israel. In 2009, he decided to start a new degree as an engineer in Environmental Science, ending with a study of pondwater quality in the Brazilian Cerrado.
