Ariane Couture is a specialised clinician nurse. She completed a degree in Nursing Sciences and a Master’s degree in Community Health, specialising in Evaluation at the University of Laval, Quebec, Canada.

 

Having practised nursing care in Paediatrics at the Hospital Centre of the University of Laval, at present, Ariane is a research coordinator at the Population Health Research Unit of the Quebec University Hospital Centre. Her experience as a clinician nurse and her academic training in evaluation enabled developing relevant expertise in both evaluation and teaching of critical care and environmental health.

 

In collaboration with the Regional Local Health Authoritiesthe and Inuit groups of hunters, Ariane carried out an evaluation of potential residual plasma lead levels in Nunavik, Canada.
